OutRiders - 24th Annual Boston to Provincetown Ride - June 21, 2008
The beautiful sand dunes of Cape Cod

Challenge yourself...

...to the best one day Boston to Provincetown bicycle ride on the calendar. This year will be our 24th annual ride and we want you, your friends and family to sign up to ride and/or volunteer. Best of all, this is a social ride and requires no fundraising. Even better, it is a weekend happening and a great way to kick off your summer vacation and bicycling season. We are a diverse group of people (mostly gay and lesbian, but all are welcome to the challenge). It is a serious ride, but many who go are also recreational riders who are looking to up their miles. All day long, you will be supported by an outstanding support crew and will be supplied with all that you need to cross the finish line.

New for 2008

We are offering a shared or half ride option for 2008. If you'd like to participate in the Boston to Ptown Ride, but don't think you can do the full 130 miles, why not consider sharing a ride or doing half a ride? Sandwich is the half-way point on our ride. You need to provide your own transportation to and from the 1/2 way option. Fill out a Rider Registration form and make sure to note that you are taking this option, so we can make the proper notation to ourselves. Fee is $60. and includes all the benefits of the full ride.

This year you can register to be on our mailing list for an e-mail newsletter that we will send out with updates on the ride and any newsworthy items that you might like to know about. You can subscribe here.

We have also started an OutRiders group on FaceBook, so that we can build a community of Riders who may want to form training rides, inquire about rooming in Boston or Provincetown, and offer a way to share experiences and feedback about our amazing event. Everyone is welcome!

Help organize the 2008 Ride

The "P-town ride" is organized by a dedicated group of volunteers. If you love the Ride and would like to help make 2008 yet another success, find out more about what's involved. You don't have to be local to help out. We are also seeking a team to head up the 2009 ride... think ahead...
